¼ pound ham or bacon pieces
2 pounds fresh green beans, washed and cut into pieces, or French style
3 - 4 cups water
1 scant teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
If using bacon, cut it into squares and brown in a skillet. When crispy, drain and set aside. Place all ingredients in crock pot. Mix together well. Cover and cook on High 6 - 10 hours, or until beans are done the way you like them.
