1 broiler/fryer chicken (2 to 3 lb), cut up
1/4 to `1/3 c. all-purpose flour
2 T. cooking oil
2 1/3 c. water
1 1/2 c. uncooked ling grain rice
1c. milk
1 tsp. poultry seasoning
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Chopped fresh parsley

Directions:
Directions:
Dredge chicken pieces in flour. In a skillet, heat oil on medium and brown chicken on all sides. Meanwhile, combine water, rice, milk, poultry seasoning, salt and pepper. Pour into a greased 13 x 9 in baking dish. Top with chicken. Cover tightly with foil and bake at 350º for 55 min or until rice and chicken are tender. Sprinkle with parsley before serving.
