1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 1/2 oatmeal
1 cup margarine
2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 lb. dates
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup hot water
Directions:
Directions:
Mix margarine, sugar, oatmeal, flour and baking powder. Mix well and spread half of mixture on bottom of pan. Combine dates, sugar, hot water and cook until soft. Spread on top of bottom layer. Top with crumbs. Bake in 350º oven 20 - 25 minutes.
