1 pound bulk sausage; browned
1 pound ground beef; browned
16 oz. cottage cheese
16 oz. ricotta cheese
4 cups shredded mozzarella
1 box ziti pasta (you can substitute your favorite noodle); par cooked
1 egg; broken
dried parsley
Italian seasoning
Your favorite Spaghetti Sauce (can, jar, or scratch)
salt
pepper

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Brown meats together, drain.
Par cook noodles; they will finishing cooking in bake time

In a large bowl, add cottage and ricotta cheeses, egg,1-2 cups mozzarella, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper to taste.

Pour noodles and meat into cheese mixture; stir well.
Pour in deep 13x9 or two pans (you can split one for now, one for later)
Spread spaghetti sauce over top of the noodles and cheese; top with mozzarella.
Bake until bubbly and golden brown.

Freeze one pan or left overs.

This is a good one and makes a lot - or cut recipe in half. I like to make it into 2 pans and freeze one for later. You can use the same ingredients and use lasagna noodles and layer. Introduced to me by Barbara Jean Wolford Witt Viti, Charlie's Mom. Enjoy.
