1 lb. carrots, cleaned and sliced
2 T. butter
2 T. sugar
Water (Just enough to cover the carrots)

Directions:

Combine everything in a saucepan. Bring to a boil.

Simmer uncovered until the liquid evaporates.

Note: for a variation, try brown sugar.
