2 qts. Burgundy or other dry wine
2 qts. apple juice
3 sticks cinnamon
1 1/2 t. whole cloves
1 t. whole allspice

Directions:
Directions:
Combine wine and apple juice in a large container. Tie spices in cheesecloth, add to wine mixture. Cover and chill several hours or overnight. Pour mixture into dutch oven; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 3 to 5 minutes. Remove spice bag. Serve hot. Makes 1 gallon
