3/4 lb. Jack cheese
3 cups sour cream, salted
2 cans green chilies, chopped
3 cups cooked noodles
salt and pepper
½ cup grated cheddar cheese


Directions:
Directions:
Cut Jack cheese in strips. Thoroughly mix sour cream and chilies. Butter 1 ½ quart casserole well. Season noodles with salt and pepper. Layer noodles, sour cream mixture, and cheese strips, in that order, until you finish with noodles on top. Bake at 350F for about half and hour. During last few minutes of baking, sprinkle grated cheese over the noodles and allow to melt.

May also be made with macaroni or rice. May be made several hours ahead of time and refrigerated until time to bake. Freezes nicely after it has been baked.
