1 pkg dry yeast
1/2 cup warm water
1 tbsp sugar
Pinch of ginger
2 cups warm water
1/2 cup sugar
3 tsp salt
3 beaten eggs
3 cups flour
2 cups steamed raisins
1/2 cup shortening
5 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup water. Add 1 tbsp sugar, pinch of ginger. Add 2 c warm water, 1/2 cup sugar, 3 tsp salt, 3 beaten eggs, 3 cups flour. Stir well. Add 2 cups steamed raisins, 1/2 cup shortening and 5 cups flour.
Let rise until double.

Note: There were no directions for cooking time, oven temperature, etc.

My kids still tell me that my cinnamon rolls aren't as good as Grandmas! They claim she used more love in the recipe!
