4 cups carrot chunks (2 inch)
4 cups red potato chunks
2 (14 ounce cans) sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
2 1/2 pounds Polish sausage, cut into 3 inch pieces
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon caraway seed

Directions:
Directions:
In a slow cooker, layer carrots, potatoes and sauerkraut
Brown the sausage in skillet and add to slow cooker
Saute onion and garlic in drippings in skillet
Gradually add broth
Bring to a boil, stir to loosen browned bits, add pepper and caraway
Pour over sausage
Cover and cook on LOW for 8-9 hours
