Personal Notes:
These are Jeanne Rudy’s famous “Home Run” cookies! The Rudy and Wicks families were good friends and the boys all played in the Dauphin baseball leagues. Before a Teener game one hot summer day in the 1960’s, Jeanne gave Jim Wicks and Randy Rudy a few of these fresh baked cookies to give them some energy. Jim hit a home run that game and he credited it to Mom’s wonderful cookies. We have called them Home Run cookies ever since!
