2 eggs, well beaten
1 cup granulated sugar
1 rounded tablespoon butter or oleo
1½ cups snipped dates
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups Rice Krispies
½ cup chopped pecans
Flaked coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Blend eggs, sugar and butter in skillet (electric fry pan works well) or flat pan. Add dates and cook for 10 minutes, stirring constantly on low heat. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Add cereal and nuts. Mix well. Grease hands with butter as often as necessary and shape into balls. (Reheat mixture, if necessary.) Roll in coconut. Put on waxed paper to set. Store in airtight container.
