3 lbs. ground round
1 large onion grated
2 eggs
Corn flake crumbs
14 oz. bottle of catsup
Salt, pepper
Garlic powder
Cold ice water
1 12 oz can ginger ale ( or equivalent healthier choice)
1/4 cup (a little less) brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine catsup, ale, and brown sugar.
Let simmer over low heat while making meat.
In a bowl, combine meat, onion, eggs, cornflakes, and seasonings.
Add ice water for the correct consistency.
Roll meat mixture into balls.
Put in sauce and cover.
Cook on low about 1 hour.
Baste once in a while.
