Mix together:
1½ cups Brer Rabbit Molasses (gold label)
1 cup sugar
¾ teaspoon salt
½ cup butter, melted
Sift together:
4 cups flour
1 tablespoon ginger
3 teaspoons soda
½ teaspoon ground cloves
½ teaspoon cinnamon
To add later:
1 1/2 cups boiling water
2 eggs, beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together wet mixture with dry. Stir in 1 ½ cups boiling water and hastily stir in two beaten eggs. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 - 40 minutes in a 9 x 13 pan.
