½ pound dried beef
½ pound sharp cheese
1 egg
1 8-ounce can of tomato sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Chop dried beef and cheese in food processor until fairly fine. Place in saucepan and add egg. Pour in tomato sauce a little at a time. Cook over low heat and stir until cheese is melted. Pour in bowl to cool. Use for sandwiches or crackers.

This is best made with fresh sliced dried beef from your favorite deli or farmer’s market.
