1 recipe of Grandma's cornbread, baked, cooled, and crumbled
1 c. (uncooked) wild rice, cooked according to package directions
2-3 5-oz. cans water chestnuts
2 bunches green onions, sliced
Sage to taste – about 2-3 tbsp.
6 sticks celery, coarsely chopped
Salt to taste
½ lb. melted butter
(Can add 2 eggs if desired) – I never do
1 tsp marjoram
1 tsp parsley
1 tsp basil

To the crumbled cornbread and cooked wild rice, add all other ingredients and blend. Best if made a day ahead – just to let flavors “marry.” Woo-hoo!
