1-2 lb. fresh broccoli, stems peeled, cut in bite-sized pieces
1 head cauliflower, broken into bite-sized pieces
½ cup raisins
1 lb. bacon, fried and diced or crumbled
1 medium onion, sliced
½ c. nuts (I use various kinds)

Dressing
1 cup mayonnaise (I use Hellman’s Light)
½ c. sugar
2 T. red wine vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all salad ingredients together in large bowl. If you plan to make salad a day ahead, add nuts just before serving.

Whisk all dressing ingredients together and pour over salad. Can make a day ahead. If you use lots of broccoli and a larger head of cauliflower, you may need to make 1.5 times this dressing recipe.
