6 c. fresh blackberries or
may use 3 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. mini tapioca
1/4 c. water
butter
pastry

Oven: 425º ~ Yield: 8 servings
Prepare your favorite 2 crust pie recipe. Line (9 X 13-inch) baking dish with 1 pie crust. Cut a design in the second crust and save for top. Add filling. Dot top with butter. Place prepared pastry over berries; flute edge if desired. Bake at 425º for 15 minutes. Reduce to 350º and bake an additional 30 minutes or until crust is brown and juice is bubbly. Serve warm with whipping cream or homemade ice cream.
