1 bag of mixed salad greens
4oz crumbled bleu cheese
small can of mandarin oranges
6 sliced strawberries
1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
8 oz pecan halves
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup water
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon chili powder
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
½ cup balsamic vinegar
3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
3 tablespoons honey
2 large garlic cloves, minced
2 small shallots, minced
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
1 cup olive oil

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together ¼ cup sugar and water until sugar dissolves. Add pecans and soak for 10 minutes. Drain.
Combine 2 tablespoons sugar, chili powder & cayenne pepper. Add pecans, tossing to coat. Place pecans on lightly sprayed cookie sheet.
Bake at 350˚for 10 minutes, stirring once.
Whisk together balsamic, vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, garlic, shallots, salt, pepper & olive oil.
Combine greens, fruits, cheese & pecans. Toss with vinaigrette.
