2 c. dry salad macaroni or "Ditalini" dry pasta
10-12 c. of water
2 cucumbers, quartered and slice thin
4 medium green onions- cleaned and sliced thinly
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. Johnny's Salad Elegance or McCormick's Salad Supreme
1 lb. imitation chunk crab (or 1 pkg of 12 oz)- chopped finely
6 tbsp. Miracle Whip (light if preferred)
1 c. milk
1 tbsp. sugar

Directions:
In a 5 quart pan, add water and bring to a boil. Add the macaroni and boil for 12 minutes or until al dente, (don't overcook, it will be too mushy) occasionally stirring. Remove from heat, drain, and run cold water over macaroni to cool. When cool place in a large mixing bowl. Add the chopped cucumbers, green onions, and chopped crab. Mix all thoroughly. Add pepper and Salad Elegance, stir throughly. Add Miracle Whip and mix well. Mix the milk and sugar in a cup, then pour over the macaroni mixture, stir well. Place in refrigerator for at least an hour before serving. The longer in the refrigerator, the better in the taste. Remove from refrigerator and serve chilled.

To make sweeter add a little more sugar at the end, stir well. To make juicier, add a little more milk until you get the consistency desired. Be sure to use Miracle Whip, not mayonnaise, this contributes to the flavor. Mom used to use real fresh Dungeness Crab, for the very best flavor ever!!
