1 tbsp cooking oil
1 medium onion, chopped
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp curry powder
1 lb ground beef
1 tomato, chopped (optional)
3/4 cup peas, frozen or fresh
1 package egg roll wrappers
Oil or fat for deep frying

Directions:
Directions:
Put oil and onion into frying pan and fry until brown. Add ginger, garlic powder and curry powder. Cook and stir for about 2 minutes. Add group beef and tomato and scramble-fry. Stir in peas. Allow to cool.
Cut egg roll wrappers diagonally into 4 triangles. Put about 1 tbsp, or less, of mixture into centre. Moisten edges with water. Fold over and press to seal. Fry in 375ºF fat until golden brown, turning once. To reheat, place on baking sheet in 350ºF oven for 10-15 minutes or until hot. Makes about 5 dozen.

These may be baked in 450ºF (230ºC) oven for about 10 minutes. They won't be as crispy brown as when deep-fried.
