6 medium carrots
1 chicken bouillon cube
1/2 c. boiling water
4 T. butter
3/4 c. boiling water
3 medium onions, sliced
1 T. flour
14/ tsp. salt
dash of pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cut carrots in julienne strips. Dissolve bouillon cube in 1/2 c. boiling water. Add carrots and cook covered for 10 minutes. Melt butter in frying pan and add onions and cook for 15 minutes stirring occasionally. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper and add 3/4 c. boiling water. Add carrots and stock and simmer for 10 minutes.
