Notes: Zizi was my father's tenant for over 30 years and owned The Miramar on Prince St. and Northern Blvd. in Flushing, Queens, NY for many years. Zizi was a wonderful culinary grandmother to us. Mrs. Montalbano always made up this soup when we were ill. She strained all the greens out giving us just the pastina and broth with just a little chicken in it. God Bless Zizi.
