Ingredients:  
1/4 c olive oil
2 lbs. fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on look nice)
2 bay leaves
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tbsp. fresh rosemary, chopped
6 to 8 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tsp.. freshly ground pepper
2 tsp. fresh oregano, chopped
1/4 c sweet white wine (sauterne or tokay wine are preferable)
Loaf of crusty French bread.

1. Heat the olive oil in a large sauté pan over low to medium heat.
2. Add all of the ingredients, except the wine.
3. Sauté with occasional stirring until the shrimp turn pink.
4. Add the wine.
5. Simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
6. Remove the bay leaves and discard them.
7. Serve with crusty French bread to dip into the sauce.
