1 3 oz. package of cream cheese
1/2 cup butter
1 cup flour

Filling:
1 egg
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp. softened butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Dash of salt
2/3 cup coarsely chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º. Let cream cheese and butter soften, then blend together. Stir in sifted all-purpose flour. Chill one hour. Shape into two dozen one-inch balls; place into non stick sprayed mini muffin pans; press dough against bottom and sides.

To make the filling, beat together the egg, brown sugar, softened butter, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth. Add the chopped pecans to this egg mixture. Fill the dough cups to near the top with the egg/nut mixture. Bake at 325º for 25 minutes. Let cool, then remove from pan. Makes two dozen.
