Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 cup chopped pecans
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 of an 11 oz. package semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare square baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Spread pecans in pan. Heat sugar and butter to boiling on the stove top, stirring constantly. Boil over medium heat, stirring constantly, for five minutes. Immediately spread mixture over nuts in pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips over hot mixture. Place baking sheet over the pan so the contained heat will melt chocolate. Spread the melted chocolate over the candy. Chill until firm, cut out of the pan in four large pieces and freeze so chocolate sets well. To cut into small serving pieces, remove from freezer and let sit for five minutes. Cut using a large straight edged knife pressing straight down.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This recipe can be tricky. I am not always successful. Some mistakes are crumbled and tossed over vanilla ice cream. Not bad! You may have to experiment with the time cooking the butter and sugar and getting the chocolate to melt over the candy. When successful, this is a delicious treat that can be used for holiday gifts, etc.
