3/4 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
2 3/4 cups rolled oats
1 cup raisins

Preheat oven to 350º F
In large bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth
Beat in eggs and vanilla until fluffy
Stir together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually beat into butter mixture
Stir in oats and raisins
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets
Bake for 5-8 minutes or until golden brown
Cool slightly then remove from sheet to wire rack
