2¼ cup flour
⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
¾ cup smooth peanut butter
¾ cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
¾ cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs
10 oz of peanut butter cups, each cut into 8 pieces
6 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:

Heat oven to 350°. In medium bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; set aside.

In large bowl, beat butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla with electric mixer at medium speed for about 3 minutes until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time; beat until thoroughly blended after each egg.

Stir peanut butter cup pieces and chocolate chips into mixture. Drop by tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet, about 1 inch apart. Bake 13-15 minutes until dry and slight firm to the touch. Let cookies cool one minute and then remove to wire rack to cool completely. Store in airtight container.
