2-1 lb. yellow turnip, cut in 1" cubes
1 tsp. salt
2 tbl butter
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/8 tsp pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cover the rutabaga with 1" of boiling water, add the salt, boil covered until tender, about 20 min. Drain well and mash.

Beat in the butter, then eggs, sugar & pepper. Turn into a buttered 1 qt casserole. Bake in preheated 350o oven for 30 min.
