1/2 cup Shortening
1/2 cup Butter
2 cups Sugar
3 Eggs
1 cup Buttermilk
4 cups Flour
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Nutmeg
2 tsp. Vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Sift dry ingredients and add with buttermilk and vanilla. Chill at least 2 hours. Roll 1/4 inch thick. Cut. Bake at 400º until brown.
