Ingredients:
1 ¾ cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice (ground cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg)
½ tsp salt
2 Tbsp butter, chilled and cubed
2 Tbsp sugar
2/3 cup skim milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees and place baking sheet in it. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice, and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in the sugar, add the milk, and mix to form a soft dough.
Turn the dough onto a floured work surface and shape it into a 7 inch round. Cut into eight wedges. Carefully take the heated baking sheet out of the oven. With a spatula, transfer the scones on baking sheet. Bake in the upper part of the oven until browned and well risen, 12-14 minutes. Cool on a wire rack and eat while fresh, preferably same day. Serve with strawberry jam and clotted cream (or Devonshire cream).
