• 1 Lb. Tender flake or butter (real)
• 5 ½ cups flour
• 2 tsp. salt
• 1 egg
• ½ cup ice water, approximately
• Unsweetened grapefruit juice.

Directions:
Directions:
Take the first three ingredients and make mixture until crumbly. Then prepare liquid in a measuring cup: 1 egg, and about ½ cup ice water. Then fill measuring cup to 1 ¼ cups with unsweetened grapefruit juice. Mix vigorously until smooth. Add to flour mixture. This pastry will be a bit wet and sticky. Refrigerate before using. Flaky!
