Directions:
Pastry:
Mix half Crisco into flour first then the other half.
Add 2 big handfuls of pastry mix to a bowl
Add a little cold water-until the dough sticks together and feels soft in a ball
Roll dough out in a circle wide enough to cover your pie plate.

For top crust of pie add an extra handful of pastry mix so it is a bit bigger.

When adding the top crust onto your pie remember to first dampen the top rim of the lower crust with water so the two layers will stick together like glue.

Remember to make slits into the top crust so steam can escape while baking

Bake at 450º for the first 10 minutes
then at 350º for 1hr, until the pie bubbles and is a nice color brown
