1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon light corn syrup
1/3 cup orange juice
1/4 cup Jack Daniel's Whiskey
1 tablespoon butter
2 1/2 cups pecan halves
1/2 teaspoon orange rind, grated

Directions:
Directions:
In a heavy saucepan combine the sugar, syrup and orange juice. Cook, stirring often, until the mixture reaches the soft ball stage (240º). Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the Jack Daniel's Whiskey and butter. Beat with a wooden spoon until the mixture begins to thicken. Stir in the pecans and orange rind. Quickly drop by heaping teaspoons onto waxed paper.
