4 large eggs
1-1/2 cups half and half
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 medium white onion, cut in eighths
1-1/2 cups shredded swiss cheese
3/4 lb bacon crisply fried and crumbled
1 9" unbaked pie crust

Preheat oven to 375º.
Add first 5 ingredients and process on "mix" until well blended. Add onion pieces and process 3 cycles on "grind". Pour into a large bowl and stir in swiss cheese until well mixed. Place pie crust in pie plate and crimp the edges. Sprinkle bacon crumbles over the bottom of the pie crust and slowly pour egg mixture over. Bake for about 45 minutes or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.

I use the bacon crumbles that are already cooked. 1 pound of cooked sausage can be substituted for the bacon.
