2 lbs lean hamburger
1 medium onion,chopped
2 lbs Velveeta cheese
1 x 8 oz jar salsa (medium or hot)
2 tbsp diced green chilies
1 x 10 oz can mushroom soup
1 tsp garlic powder

Directions:
Directions:
In a large pot brown hamburger and onions;, drain off grease. Add remaining ingredients except for cheese. Cut cheese in small cubs. Stir into hamburger mixture and cook over low heat, stir occasionally until melted. Serve warm with tortilla chips or crackers. This dip freezes well. Simply heat small amount in microwave. If you like it hotter, add hot sauce or chillies to taste. New
