2 c sugar
1 c dates
1/2 c nuts
1/2 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
In an heavy pan cook sugar and milk til it begins to thicken. Add dates. Continue to cook, but do not stir until 234 to 240 º. at soft ball stage. Remove from heat. Beat til creamy, add nuts and continue to beat til mix holds its shape. Spread on a large damp cloth on a counter. Sprinkle
cloth with nuts. Roll in this til coated. Roll in a log and let stand til firm.
Can store in a cool place and cut slices as desired.
