3 cups all purpose flour (unsifted)
1 1/4 cups Crisco
1 egg beaten well
5 tbsp. water
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. salt (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cut Crisco into flour
Add egg, water, vinegar, and salt
Mix well, Knead a little, Form into a ball
Put on well-floured board, flour top of ball
Roll thin - Do Not Turn
For Fruit pies (2 crusts) bake at 350º
For 1 crust pies bake at 400º
