1 pkg yellow cake mix
1 pkg 4-serving size chocolate instant pudding
4 eggs
½ cup vegetable oil
¾ cup water

Glaze:

1 3/4 c sifted confectioners sugar
6 tbsp milk

Preheat oven to 350◦. Blend cake mix and chocolate pudding mix in a large mixer bowl. Add eggs, oil, and water. Start beating at low speed. When ingredients are thoroughly mixed, beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Bake at 350◦ for 50 minutes, or until a cake tester comes out clean. Cool in pan on a rack; do not turn pan upside down. Using a two-tined fork, make holes 1 inch apart in the entire cake while still hot.

Prepare glaze by mixing confectioners’ sugar and milk until smooth. Pour glaze on cake immediately and allow cake to remain in pan until completely cooled.

Easy way to remove cake from pan: Using a knife, gently loosen edges of cake, including edges along the small opening around tube, and try to work the knife up under the cake. Place paper plate upside down on top of cake. Flip over. Gently remove pan. Place cake plate upside down on bottom of cake (which is actually on top because it’s upside down at this point) and flip over. Discard paper plate.
