Ingredients: 2 (6 1/2 oz) cans tuna, drained and flaked 1/8 tsp. lemon pepper (or regular) 2 oz (1/2 c.) shredded monterey jack or cheddar cheese 1/3 c. salad dressing or mayonnaise 2 T. finely chopped celery 1 T. finely chopped onion 10 oz. can refrigerated large biscuits 1 egg, beaten or 2 T. milk 1 c. crushed potato chips

Directions:Heat oven to 375 F. In small bowl, combine first 6ingredients. Separate dough into 10 biscuits. Press or roll each to a 5 inch circle. Spoon about 1/4 cup tuna mixture onto center of each biscuit.
Fold dough in half over filling; press edges with fork to seal. Brush each with egg or milk; press both sides in crushed chips. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Make two or three 1/2 inch slits in each top crust. Bake at 375 F for 18 to 24 minutes or until deep golden brown. Makes 10 sandwiches.
To reheat, wrap in foil; heat at 350 F for 10 to 15 minutes. |
