8 medium yellow squash
1 large onion
2 tablespoons butter
2 eggs
3/4 cup milk
6-8 slices American cheese, crumbled
1 cup bread crumbs
Salt and pepper to taste

Frying pan
Casserole baking dish

Directions:
Directions:
1) Cook squash until almost tender.
2) Slice onion and saute lightly.
3) Mash squash with onions.
4) Beat eggs with milk; combine with cheese, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper; mix well.
6) Place in casserole dish.
7) Bake at 350º for 20-25 minutes; Serve hot.

Sandi says "I made up this recipe for a Thanksgiving dinner one year. My brothers liked it so much that they requested it from then. It's so easy and fast to make . It's pretty tasty as well, especially if you like cheese. :) "
