1 1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tarter
1 1/4 c. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter. Mix in egg and flavorings. Blend in dry ingredients. Refrigerate 2-3 hours. Heat oven to 375º.

Roll out on powdered sugar. Sprinkle powdered sugar on dough. Cut with cookie cutter or drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. If dropped, flatten with buttered, sugared glass. Bake until set.
