1 lb. (4 1/2 c.) flour
1 t. baking powder
1 t. allspice
1 t. cinnamon
1 t. mace
1 t. nutmeg
1 lb. margarine
1 lb. dark brown sugar
10 eggs, well beaten
1/2 lb. candied cherries
1 lb. raisins
1 lb. currents
1 lb. mixed fruit
1 bottle mince meat
1 c. molasses
1/2 lb. walnuts, chopped
1/2 c. apple cider
1 t. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour once, measure, add baking powder and spices. Sift together three times.
Cream margarine and sugar thoroughly together. Add eggs, fruits, nuts, mince meat, cherries, molasses, cider and flour. Mix well. Turn in well greased pans. Bake in oven at 250º for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
