1/2 Cup shortening
1 Cup sugar
3 medium very ripe bananas, mashed
2 eggs, well beaten
1 1/2 Cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Combine shortening and sugar until well mixed.
Add bananas and eggs, mix well.
Add flour and soda, mix only until blended, DO NOT OVERMIX!
Bake in a well greased loaf pan @ 375º for 45-55 minutes.
