Nearly always we had a green salad with supper at their house. Uncle Ole would always vigorously shake the dressing bottle prior to using it. I decided it would be great fun to pretend I had tightened the cap and handed the dressing to Uncle Ole. Of course he shook the bottle, the cap came off and dressing was splattered all over the kitchen including the ceiling. Being the great person Aunt Merna was, she had a good laugh even though she probably had to clean up the mess. Don't know why they didn't kill us kids because of some of the tricks we pulled.
