4 (6 oz) Lean center-cut loin pork chops (or bone-in pork chops)
1 Egg white, lightly beaten
1/4 C. Unsweetened pineapple juice
1 Tblsp. Low-sodium soy sauce
1/4 tsp. Ground ginger
1/4 tsp. Garlic Powder
1 C. Dry breadcrumbs
1 tsp. Dried Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp. Paprika

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.


Trim excess fat from pork chops (optional). Combine egg white and next 4 ingredients in a shallow, wide bowl and stir well. In another shallow container, combine breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, and paprika and set aside.

Spray a roasting pan and rack or baking dish with nonstick cooking spray (PAM).

Dip each pork chop in the liquid mixture and then lightly coat in the breadcrumb mixture. Place pork chops on the rack in a roasting pan or baking dish.

Bake for 15-20 minutes (depending on thickness) at 350º, turn and then continue to bake for another 15-20n minutes or until no longer pink in the center.

Serve with apple sauce.

If you're on a health-kick, or just like pork chops, you'll love this recipe. I found this recipe on the 24-hour Fitness recipe website. It's really yummy and you'll lose weight after eating this meal. Note - Steve and I like to use the thin, lean, bone-in pork chops.
