"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Directions:
Combine first 4 ingredients in a medium bowl; firmly press mixture evenly into bottom and sides of 10 inch springform pan. Bake at 350 deg. for 5 minutes, set aside.

Beat cream cheese at medium speed of an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add sugar, beating well. Add whipping cream, flour and vanilla; beat well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Pour 1/3 into prepared pan. Top with cookie pieces; pour in remaining batter. Bake at 350 deg. for 45 minutes.

Combine 1 cup whipping cream and semisweet chocolate morsels in a saucepan; stir over low heat until chocolate melts. Stir in vanilla. Pour warm mixture over cheesecake. Refrigerate until serving time.

Personal Notes:
I use the packaged chocolate cookie crumbs for the crust. I prefer Oreo cookies for the cake itself.
