Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1/2 stick butter melted in a cast iron skillet
1/2 c. light brown sugar
1/4 c. water
1/2 t. pepper
1 t. chinese five spice powder
1 t. cayenne pepper
4 c. halved pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in skillet and add brown sugar, water, pepper, chinese five spice and cayenne. Mix until it blends. Add 4 cups of pecan halves & stir over medium heat until the goop thickens and coats the pecans (about 5 min.)
Remove from heat & place on buttered baking sheet.
Put in 350 degree oven for 10 mins. & then pull out and let cool.
The recipe says the pecans will last for 3 days, but I think easily 1 week.
