4 6 oz cans pecans
3/4 lb chopped candied pineapple
3/4 lb. whole candied cherries
1 lb golden raisins
1/2 lb soft butter
2 1/2 cup white sugar
2 oz brandy
6 eggs
4 cups flour
1 teas nutmeg
1 1/2 teas cinnamon
1 teas salt

save some fruit to decorate

Directions:
Directions:
Line loaf pans with foil. Mix butter, sugar, eggs, and flavoring in a large bowl. Sift together dry ingredients. Mix together with butter. Mix fruit and nuts and batter together with hands. Fill pans 2/3 full. Bake at 275 degrees for 2 1/2 - 3 hours (large pan) or 1 1/2 hours - 2hours. Brush with karo syrup and brandy.
