1 1/2 C. light brown sugar
2/3 C. white corn syrup
4 tsp butter
3/4 C. evaporated milk
1 tsp burnt sugar flavoring
1 tsp vanilla


Directions:
Directions:
Put brown sugar, syrup, and butter in double boiler. Cook to soft boil, which is about 225 degrees. Cool to luke warm. Add milk, sugar flavoring, and vanilla. Stir until thoroughly mixed. Store in fridge.

Doubling the recipe will allow you to use an entire can of evaporated milk. Use the lightest brown sugar you can find.

I think this recipe was possibly brought home from school by Tami. I like this one because it seems to come out right all the time.
