"A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside; "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."--Jean Antheleme Brillat-Savarin, The Physiology of Taste

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
4 lb bottom of the round roast (sirloin & chuck roasts work too)
2 beef bouillon cubes- I use beef broth or can of V8
lg jar of peperonchini peppers ( I skip these)
2 pkg. dry 4 Seasons Italian seasoning mix
2 tbsp oregano
garlic powder to taste
salt and pepper to taste
Cracked red pepper flakes to taste ( I skip these )
2 cups water - have used broth or V8 juice

Directions:
Directions:
Place bouillon or broth in crock pot. Place meat on top. Add rest of ingredients, except peperonchini peppers. Measure 1/3 c of vinegar juice from bottle and -pour over meat. Add 1/2 jar of peperonchinis over meat. Cook on low for 8-10 hours. Slice or shred meat and serve with rolls.

Note: If you like a lot of juice with your beef, add more water before storing in the fridge. The water seems to get absorbed when it sits over night.
